Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking a Senior Balance Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of force and moment balances for the USAF AEDC at Arnold AFB, TN. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and technical leadership in a high-hazard ground testing environment.

You will mentor engineers, drive design innovations, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure effective testing operations and mission success.

Qualifications

• BS in a relevant engineering or scientific field.
• Minimum of 11 years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Generate design concepts for force and moment balances based on needs and requirements.
• Finalize designs with reviews and create documentation for fabrication and testing.
• Manage and modernize AEDC’s balance inventory.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across engineering and operations.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers to foster growth.
• Adopt advanced technologies and design innovations to enhance communication.
