Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks a Facility Modeling & Analysis Engineer for AEDC at Arnold AFB, TN. You will develop Matlab/Simulink models of test facilities, apply standard engineering methods, and contribute to hardware-in-the-loop simulations. Strong communication and proactive learning are essential.

Open to internal and external candidates; role emphasizes collaboration with the Engineering Solutions branch and support for DoD defense test operations.

Qualifications

• S. degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related scientific discipline from an accredited university.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance and have DoD access.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink product suite and modeling for test facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support development of Matlab/Simulink physics-based models of AEDC test facilities and test articles.
• Evaluate engineering methods and adapt criteria with independent judgment.
• Develop and apply computational/hardware-in-the-loop models; expand capabilities as needed.
• Apply tools to support capital improvement and maintenance projects.
• Identify deficiencies in simulations and implement improvements.
• Develop new simulations and expand existing ones for future needs.
• Draft and present results to technical and high-level audiences.
