Beyond New Horizons, LLC seeks a Senior Balance Engineer for AEDC at Arnold AFB, TN. You will lead lifecycle design and testing of force and moment balances, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency across test operations.

You will mentor engineers, adopt advanced technologies, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high-hazard facility solutions and documentation.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 11 years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Generate feasible design concepts for force and moment balances based on needs.
• Finalize designs with reviews and create fabrication/testing documentation.
• Manage and modernize AEDC’s balance inventory.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and foster teamwork.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers for professional growth.
• Champion adoption of advanced technologies and design innovations.
