Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Senior Bacterial Core Technician to perform research and development in collaboration with scientific and technical staff. The contractor will be responsible for BSL-3 laboratory operations, animal manipulations, and conducting approximately 5 animal studies annually for DTRA-funded and contracted projects.
This role supports the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) at Fort Detrick, MD. USAMRIID collaborates with military, DoD, interagency, private sector, and academic partners to protect against biological threats, conduct research, and develop medical countermeasures.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with 7 years' related experience or Master's degree with 3 years' experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in complex lab procedures, meeting deadlines, good communication, and analytical skills. US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain necessary security clearances.
Salary range: $57,650 - $93,100, based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
