Qualifications

• 3–7 years of backend engineering experience building and operating production services at scale.
• Proficiency in Go or Python (or Java/Ruby) with strong CS fundamentals.
• Deep experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) including schema design and query optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services in Go or Python, owning them from architecture through production deployment.
• Develop REST and gRPC APIs with strong contracts, thorough testing, and clear documentation for internal and external consumers.
• Model and optimize data layers in PostgreSQL and Redis, including schema design, query tuning, and caching strategies.
