Job summary

ACV Auctions is hiring a Software Engineer to join the ACV Retail - Viper Teams, focusing on backend development in Go Lang with AWS, Postgres, and NoSQL. The role emphasizes scalable, reliable services and leadership in design decisions.

You will design, implement, and maintain distributed systems, collaborate across teams, and own end-to-end initiatives from discovery to production support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience building SaaS web applications using Go Lang and Node.JS and/or C# (12+ years desirable).
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud services (SQS, SNS, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda).
• Proven ability to design scalable, reliable systems and lead technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop services using Go Lang, Postgres and NoSQL databases.
• Design and build scalable systems with focus on reliability and performance.
• Lead architecture decisions and drive engineering quality through code reviews and testing.
