Job summary

Grafana is hiring for a cloud/systems engineer focused on reliability and performance for Grafana Cloud. You will design, build, operate, and maintain critical observability systems, working across cloud providers to ensure scalable, resilient delivery.

You should be a proactive, customer-focused self-starter with strong Go experience and familiarity with DevOps and observability tooling. This is a remote role with global teams and a chance to influence our roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience with Go or similar languages and a track record shipping production services.
• Experience with cloud or systems engineering in a fast-moving environment.
• Familiarity with observability systems and DevOps practices.

About the Mimir Squad:

• The Mimir squad maintains the Mimir OSS project and operates Grafana Cloud Metrics across three major cloud providers.
• Engineers focus on optimizing efficiency and resilience of processing, storing, and querying metrics at scale.

• Take an active role in influencing our roadmap and your career objectives.
• Drive projects from initial idea to operations in customers' hands.
• Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning reliability and performance.

What We're Looking For:

• Motivated self-starter with a bias towards action and customer focus.
• Solid experience with Go or similar languages, and experience with cloud or systems engineering.
• Familiarity with observability systems and DevOps model.
