Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Lead Backend Developer to design, build, and operate the foundational platforms and shared services that support multiple engineering teams. The role focuses on backend platform capabilities—routing, traffic management, data fan-out, caching, asynchronous jobs, and durable event processing—to handle very high traffic with predictable latency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Six or more years of professional backend or platform engineering experience.
• Track record building and operating internal platforms or shared services.
• Designing distributed systems with strong focus on consistency, availability, latency, and failure modes.
• Experience with high-throughput messaging and event-driven architectures (Kafka/Pulsar/NATS).
• Experience leading multi-quarter platform initiatives across teams and stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document design decisions clearly.
