Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate foundational platforms and shared services used by multiple engineering teams. Focus areas include high-throughput, scalable backend platforms, request routing, caching, and durable event processing.

This role emphasizes developer experience, observability, and platform ownership to enable product teams to move faster while maintaining reliability and security at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Six or more years of professional backend or platform engineering experience.
• Demonstrated track record building and operating internal platforms or shared services used by multiple teams.
• Strong hands-on experience designing distributed systems with low latency and high availability.

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal platform services and shared infrastructure used by hundreds of engineers.
• Architect high-throughput, latency-sensitive backend platforms with predictable tail latency.
• Build durable event-processing pipelines and asynchronous job execution platforms.
• Design and operate caching, rate-limiting, and request-shaping layers for safe scaling.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and lead architectural discussions across teams.
• Produce clear technical design documents and runbooks; drive platform improvements.
