Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Developer for a remote role to design, build, and operate core backend platforms and shared services used by multiple engineering teams. You will tackle high-throughput routing, traffic management, data fan-out, caching, asynchronous jobs, and durable event processing to maintain low latency under heavy load.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Six or more years of professional backend or platform engineering experience.
• Demonstrated track record building and operating internal platforms or shared services used by multiple teams.
• Strong, hands-on expertise designing distributed systems with strong consistency, availability, latency, and failure-mode considerations.
• Proficiency in at least one major backend language such as Java, Go, Scala, Rust, or modern C++.
• Deep understanding of high-throughput messaging, streaming, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pulsar, NATS).
• Knowledge of relational, key-value, document, and search storage systems.
• Experience leading multi-quarter platform initiatives and stakeholder management.
