Qualifications

• Deep experience building scalable distributed systems.
• Strong reliability, observability, and fault-tolerance skills.
• Comfort reasoning about performance, capacity, and trade-offs at scale.
• Experience with event-driven systems, message queues, or data pipelines is a plus.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to raise the team around you.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve distributed systems in Go to handle billions of daily events and messages.
• Lead architectural decisions around performance, reliability, and real-time processing.
• Improve service-to-service communication through APIs, messaging, and event patterns.
• Work across teams to uncover bottlenecks and drive improvements for better customer experience.
• Tackle high-throughput challenges across data pipelines, queues, and scheduling infrastructure.
• Debug production systems at scale with good instrumentation and rapid issue resolution.
• Share knowledge through progress updates, writing, and mentoring.
• Leverage AI tools to prototype and accelerate decision making.
