Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Backend Capability Product Specialist to own the backend platform, APIs, and third‑party integration layer of our SaaS product suite. You will partner with engineering, business, and market intelligence to drive scalable, interoperable systems powering internal capabilities and external partner integrations.

You will lead the API strategy, governance, and developer experience, and manage end‑to‑end integration roadmaps with EHR/EMR platforms and health data networks,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience
• 4+ years focused on backend systems, APIs, or platform products
• Proven track record delivering SaaS platform features at scale in B2B/enterprise
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for backend systems, APIs, and data platform capabilities
• Define API design standards and DX principles
• Lead strategy for third‑party integrations and marketplace ecosystem
• Translate technical requirements into clear product specs and acceptance criteria
