The ideal candidate has 7+ years in product management, 4+ years with backend systems and APIs, and a proven track record delivering SaaS features at scale in B2B settings.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of product management experience.
• 4+ years focused on backend systems, APIs, or platform products.
• Proven SaaS platform feature delivery in a B2B/enterprise context.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and modern integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with API management platforms (Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Kong, MuleSoft).
• Strong ROI modeling, market sizing, and competitive differentiation.
• Experience leading API or platform product strategy.
• Comfort reading API specs OpenAPI/Swagger and participating in architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the backend product roadmap and API strategy.
• Define API design standards and DX principles.
• Lead third-party integrations and marketplace ecosystem strategy.
• Collaborate with architects to adopt interoperability standards.
• Translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor platform KPIs like API adoption, uptime, latency.
