Maximus is seeking a Software Developer (Backend) for USAF mission support. You will design and develop back-end architectures, RESTful APIs, and data models while working in a cloud-enabled, microservices environment.

The role requires evaluating and integrating data across unclassified to classified deployments and participating in CI/CD with Jenkins and GitLab. The position is remote, requires TS/SCI clearance with CI poly, and may travel 10–20% to a site.

Formación

• 7 years of overall experience in the functional area.
• Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with DevSecOps, microservices, and containers tool suites.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira) and testing web-based applications.
• 3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.
• Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
• Experience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.
• 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
• 5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube.
• 3 years of recent back-end web design and development experience.
• Demonstrated experience with relational databases, RESTful API development/communication, and system integrations.
• 3 years of experience with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux.
