Job summary

The Software Engineer-Mid will support Special Operations Command - North (SOCNORTH) located at Peterson AFB (Colorado Springs), Colorado. You will design and maintain data-driven backend systems to provide secure, high-performance search and analytics capabilities, with a focus on national security missions.

You'll develop applications using Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, create APIs and microservices with Flask or FastAPI, and apply DevSecOps practices including CI/CD and IaC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of related software development experience.
• Current DoW TS/SCI clearance required; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data-driven backend systems for secure analytics.
• Develop backend services for data ingestion and retrieval.
• Create APIs and microservices using Flask or FastAPI.
• Implement DevSecOps practices including CI/CD and IaC.
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis on CAI/PAI datasets.
