Motion Recruitment Partners in Boston is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help build scalable cloud-based systems for a central CRM platform. You’ll work with backend technologies and AI to automate how data is processed and used.

You will make key architectural decisions, own backend features end-to-end, and collaborate with product and engineering teams as the platform grows. This role expands AI integration and improves how customers interact with their data.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Degree in a relevant field is required.

Responsibilities

• Own backend features from end to end.
• Design and build scalable backend architecture, APIs, data models, and shared services.
• Develop and optimize high-throughput Node.js services, PostgreSQL queries, APIs, queues, and background processes.
• Communicate with product, engineering leadership, and customers to turn complex requirements into practical technical solutions.
