Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help build out and improve their AI-driven modern CRM platform. You’ll work on their backend work streams, API platform, core data model, and systems that lead the way for new product capabilities.

In this role you’ll help build external API platforms, ship new AI-driven capabilities, build new applications in Node, and design data model and system architecture to support increasingly complex customer workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong backend architecture and system design experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, database design, and backend scalable solutions.
• Strong experience with SaaS platforms, multi-tenant architecture, and scalability.
• Time spent in technical leadership roles (tech lead, staff engineer, or equivalent).

A growing CRM startup company is looking to hire a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help build out and improve their AI driven modern CRM platform. You’ll work on their backend work streams, API platform, core data model, and systems that lead the way for new product capabilities. In this role, you’ll help build external API platforms, ship new AI-driven capabilities, build new applications in Node, and design data model and system architecture to support their increasingly complex customer workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong backend architecture and system design experience
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, database design, and backend scalable solutions
• Strong experience with SaaS platforms, multi-tenant architecture, and scalability
• Time spent in technical leadership roles (tech lead, staff engineer, or equivalent)

Desired Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems
• BS in Computer Science (MS preferred) or a relevant field
• Ability to communicate clearly and make practical tradeoffs
