Job summary
Veriff is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Trust team. You will build and operate backend services that validate identity data against country sources, expanding global coverage while maintaining reliability and performance.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building backend applications using Python.
- Experience with event-driven and async architectures with message queues.
- Proven ownership of production-critical services and on-call responsibilities.
- Design for resilience in distributed systems (timeouts, retries, idempotency, backpressure).
- Strong data modelling to unify heterogeneous external data sources.

- Designing, building, and operating Trust backend services with external data sources.

- Modeling messy upstream data into clean domain models.
