A strong emphasis on reliability, testing, and documentation drives the role. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in backend development, proficiency in Go or Java, and experience with cloud-native microservices.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience building backend systems autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale high-performance backend systems and microservices.
• Define, decompose, and lead delivery of complex backend solutions.
• Integrate AI models, data pipelines, and telemetry into workflows.
• Write automated unit and integration tests; ensure system reliability.
• Produce architecture docs, runbooks, and service ownership materials.
• Mentor peers and collaborate with product and frontend teams.
