Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer for the Advanced Research team to build and maintain cloud services that power our Falcon platform. You will collaborate with Security, Data Science, Engineering, and Visualization experts in a distributed, remote-first environment while delivering innovative detection capabilities.

You will work with state-of-the-art technologies, contribute to scalable systems, and participate in mentoring and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or permanent residency required to access resources.
• Computer science degree or commensurate experience.
• Proficiency in Java/Scala/Python or similar language.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, RESTful patterns and multithreading.
• Experience in building/scaling services in production and CI/CD using tools like Jenkins/Bamboo.

Responsibilities

• Work with technologies like Kafka, Flink, Redis, ElasticSearch, Cassandra and LLMs to build cloud services.
• Develop, maintain, and scale distributed cloud services in production and ensure health of systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate capabilities into the Falcon platform.
