Job summary

Talanto seeks a talented SDE1 Back-End Engineer to lead development of a next-generation Practice Management platform. You will design and implement architectural solutions to modernize our platform and maintain critical services that power product features.

You will work with Spring Boot, Java, Python, and cloud technologies; collaborate with PMs and designers; participate in Agile processes; and apply emerging technologies to improve quality. 0-1 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 0-1 years of professional software development experience (1+ years of internship desirable).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to optimize performance and scalability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable software applications using Spring Boot, Java, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to architect robust and scalable solutions that meet business requirements.
• Build, test, and maintain critical services that serve as foundational building blocks for product features.
• Participate actively in the code review process and Agile ceremonies.
• Continuously research and apply emerging technologies to improve development process and product quality.
