ShippyPro is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and scale backend services, architect microservices, and lead AI-enabled automation. You’ll own systems end-to-end while writing production-grade code and collaborating with product and design. The role emphasizes distributed architecture, high load, and rapid shipping in a SaaS context.

You’ll work with PHP/Laravel, NodeJS, Python, React, and AWS, contributing to a modern, AI-enhanced platform that serves millions of shipments per month.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, or related field
• Strong system design and trade-off judgment
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with SaaS products is valued

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services across languages
• Architect microservices and contribute to distributed systems evolution
• Code hands-on while guiding technical design and AI applications
• Integrate AI/LLMs to automate workflows for merchants
• Own performance and reliability for millions of shipments
