Unity Technologies SF is seeking a senior backend developer to join the Offerwall team, building scalable, resilient systems for high-volume event processing and user identification with privacy settings. The role emphasizes ownership of critical subsystems, code quality, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You'll work on large-scale backend services, leverage AI-assisted tools, and apply industry-grade observability and data-platform skills to deliver reliable, measurable outcomes

Qualifications

• Hands-on backend development experience in Golang or Java.
• Experience developing and maintaining distributed web services at scale.
• Experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka or other message queues.
• Experience producing and analyzing web service event audit trails.
• Effective use of AI-assisted development tools while maintaining code quality, security and reliability.

Responsabilités

• Design and build new product features, and refactor and optimize existing ones as conditions change.
• Build and maintain resilient backend services that process events at very large scale.
• Take ownership of a key part of a large system, building domain knowledge with team support.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Work with product managers and related teams to deliver results that reach users.
• Apply engineering principles and bring best practices to the team.
