Job summary

Unity Technologies is seeking engineers to own APIs and SDKs powering AI asset creation across the full lifecycle. You will ensure secure, observable backend services and build integrations with partners to improve asset workflows.

The role involves defining guardrails and architectural oversight while collaborating with product, design, and engineering across Unity AI. The ideal candidate has strong API design experience, cloud familiarity, and a track record of delivering scalable platform

Qualifications

• Experience with C# / .NET building production web APIs.
• Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
• Expertise with cloud offerings including databases, pub-sub systems, and observability stacks.
• Familiarity with Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
• Proven debugging, profiling, and optimization in production environments.
• Experience designing and evolving APIs / SDKs used by multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Own APIs and SDKs powering AI asset creation experiences across design, delivery, and support.
• Ensure backend services are secure, reliable, observable, and resilient with IaC patterns.
• Develop and maintain integrations with partners to improve asset workflows.
• Set patterns for AI-assisted development with guardrails and architectural oversight.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to steer roadmap and health of the platform.
