Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a fully remote role focusing on backend systems in fintech. You will own critical services implemented in TypeScript/Node.js, GraphQL APIs, and AWS Lambda, while scaling PostgreSQL data models and integrating third-party APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Expertise designing and optimizing PostgreSQL data models
• Hands-on experience building GraphQL APIs
• Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience with CloudFormation or Serverless Framework
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure handling of sensitive data
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and building resilient distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale backend services using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models to support scale.
