Affich is seeking a senior software engineer to drive the planning, architecture, and delivery of high-scale, high-availability services. You will own API design, data models, and platform components for a money-movement system used in our card products.

You will collaborate across product, analytics, design, legal, and accounting, while mentoring engineers and upholding best practices. This role offers a remote-first environment with regional pay ranges and generous health and equity benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development or engineering with system design and architecture experience.
• Excellent communicator with ability to share complex ideas with diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system design and development of large-scale, high-availability services.
• Build robust APIs and data models for micro-service and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Design, Legal, and Accounting to define requirements and execution.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices through code reviews.
