Job summary

Virta Health is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build reliable Golang microservices powering eligibility, billing, and client-facing systems. You will improve data accuracy across member, client, and operational workflows and automate processes that support transparent reporting.

You will work with data and AI teams to apply AI to data validation and process automation while partnering with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions in a remote-friendly environment with office hubs in

Qualifications

5+ years shipping backend code in production with data-centric systems.
Experience building/deploying/maintaining microservices in production.
Experience with API development, SQL/NoSQL datastores, messaging queues.
Proficiency in Golang and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and strong communication.

Responsibilities

Build and evolve Golang microservices powering eligibility, coverage, billing, and client-facing systems.
Automate and streamline workflows to improve data accuracy and availability.
Design self-service tools for finance, operations, and client teams.
Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and traceable for internal and external reporting.
Collaborate with data/AI teams to apply AI to validation, automation, and anomaly detection.
Contribute to client-facing APIs enabling seamless data exchange.
