LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer for our Operations Engineering team. You will triage and debug production incidents, build robust backend tools, and monitor system health to support a critical enterprise insurance platform.

The role involves on-call rotations, cross-functional collaboration with Support, Product, and Engineering, and development of dashboards and automation to reduce MTTD/MTTR. Hybrid in-office presence in GA is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend software development in Node.js.
• Experience debugging production systems and triaging incidents.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools.
• Experience with AWS services and databases.
• Ability to build internal tools and dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving and reliability focus.

Responsibilities

• Triage and debug production incidents; identify root causes and drive fixes to resolution.
• Lead or participate in RCAs and post-incident reviews; document timelines and actions.
• Participate in on-call rotations to improve reliability and response times.
• Collaborate with Support, Product, and Engineering to address pain points; drive improvements.
• Develop and maintain backend tools and services for operational workflows; improve MTTR/MTTD.
• Build internal dashboards and monitoring/alerting to show system health KPIs.
