LexisNexis Risk Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Operations Engineering team, supporting backend systems for an enterprise insurance platform. You triage and debug customer-impacting issues, monitor system health, and build robust tools for operations teams to work at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience with Node.js.
• Experience debugging production systems with logs, metrics, and traces.
• Familiarity with on-call rotations and incident triage.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and databases (relational and NoSQL).
• Ability to develop internal tools, automation scripts, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Triage and debug customer-impacting production incidents and drive fixes.
• Lead RCAs and post-incident reviews with timelines and actions.
• Participate in on-call rotations to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with Support, Product, and Engineering to address pain points.
• Build and maintain backend tools, remediation workflows, and dashboards.
• Develop monitoring and alerting systems for operational health.
