Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in the United States seeks an experienced Database Reliability Engineer to lead the reliability, availability, and performance of production database services. You will design multi-region architectures, define best practices, and mentor the Database Operations team.

Responsibilities include incident response, DR planning, and coordinating with software engineering and DevOps to drive modernization and automation across MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle

Qualifications

• 7+ years of database administration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience required.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of production database services.
• Design and support highly available, multi-region database architectures.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Define and support operational reliability standards and best practices.
