Job summary

BRINC is seeking a Backend Engineer for LiveOps in Seattle to build and maintain the real-time backend infrastructure that keeps our public safety drones connected, streaming, and mission-ready. You will own the live operations stack, focusing on telemetry, video distribution, and secure control links under time-critical conditions.

You will work at the intersection of backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and hardware-in-the-loop systems to ensure a solid, secure, scalable live platform

Qualifications

5+ years of experience shipping high-quality code and building robust infrastructure.
Experience building backend platforms, from the infrastructure up to the API layer, with focus on real-time data and security.

Responsibilities

Own the scalable backend platform that supports our real-time services.
Ensure platform security, reliability, and performance.
Build platform infrastructure and tooling.
Rapidly prototype new project ideas for customers and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and autonomy teams to display live drone data to non-technical users.
