Northbeam is building the world's most advanced marketing intelligence platform. We’re seeking a senior software engineer who leans backend to design scalable systems and deliver full-stack features across the stack.

You’ll spend most time on backend and data processing, with opportunities to contribute frontend work and help evolve our AI-powered marketing workflows and real-time data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in distributed backend design and delivery.
• Experience shaping system architecture with microservices.
• Collaborates with PMs, designers, and data scientists on delivery.
• Startup or breadth-focused engineering background valued.
• Turns ambiguous needs into solid architectural solutions.
• Navigate complex data sets and dependencies effectively.
• Some frontend work with React/TypeScript; deep frontend not required.
• Strong problem-solving and coding fundamentals; AI as accelerator.

Responsibilities

• Develop near-real-time ingestion and processing capabilities.
• Build AI-powered workflows to evaluate performance and act on insights.
• Improve connection-state systems and expand data ecosystem.
• Work on RBAC and other product areas as needed.
• Contribute to frontend work when required to deliver complete experiences.
