Job summary

Northbeam seeks a senior software engineer focused on backend and distributed systems. You will spend roughly 70% on backend and 20-30% on frontend, owning features from design to rollout. This role offers impact in a fast-growing company with remote-friendly policies.

You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and designers to build scalable data infrastructure, expand the incrementality offering, and integrate AI into workflows for marketers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing distributed backend systems and APIs.
• Experience building system architecture and data processing pipelines.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous needs into robust tech solutions.
• Ability to work with product managers, designers, and data scientists.
• Frontend experience with React/TypeScript is a plus.
• Startup or fast-growth environment experience.
• Strong problem-solving and breadth across backend/frontend.

Responsibilities

• Scale the incrementality product into a reliable experimentation platform.
• Develop near real-time data ingestion and processing capabilities.
• Build AI-powered workflows for marketers to act on insights.
• Improve connection-state systems and extend the data ecosystem.
• Collaborate with data scientists, PMs, and designers across the stack.
