Job summary

Enode is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to strengthen the company’s EV platform, focusing on reliability, observability, and scalable connectivity. You’ll join the Platform Connect team to integrate EV chargers, vehicles, and OEM platforms into a single cohesive product for customers.

In this role you will own end-to-end delivery of complex integrations, uphold high code quality, and partner with product to guide platform priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing maintainable, testable backend code with API or integration work.
• Strong platform engineering mindset, focusing on the connectivity layer that powers integrations.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API integrations with OEMs and energy partners, ensuring reliability and test coverage.
• Strengthen the connectivity platform by reducing incidents and improving observability, monitoring, and alerting.
• Lead complex projects end-to-end with limited hand-holding and drive them to release.
• Maintain high code quality, testing, and observability across the codebase.
• Align platform priorities with product and cross-functional teams, balancing stability and delivery.
• Share knowledge and mentor teammates to keep the team aligned.
