As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own components of a modern OLAP system, including query execution, storage formats, and distributed compute, with emphasis on performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience building or extending distributed data systems.
• 5+ years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, network).
• Strong CS fundamentals: distributed systems, data structures, concurrency, optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize Nova-like OLAP engine components and infrastructure.
• Improve cost, latency, and throughput of the system.
• Contribute to reliability, monitoring, and on-call incident response.
• Collaborate across teams to translate architecture to customer value.
