Job summary

You’ll own the roadmap, partner across teams, and engage in escalations with customers when needed, shaping scalable, secure data movements for thousands of events daily.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading engineers, as a manager or tech lead.
• 6+ years building backend, data, or infrastructure systems.
• Experience with data integration or pipeline work at scale.
• Comfortable with modern cloud infrastructure like Kubernetes, Kafka, S3 and Terraform.
• Proven track record improving reliability, latency, or cost in production.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction and roadmap for data import and export with clear priorities.
• Lead, coach, and grow a team of around 10 engineers.
• Partner with tech leads on architecture across ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Own reliability, SLOs, and cost efficiency for pipelines.
• Expand destinations and sources; ship end-to-end with Product teams.
• Get involved in significant customer onboarding and escalations.
