LiveView Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer in American Fork, UT to build scalable microservices and APIs powering our AI-driven site platform. You will design, code, and deploy high-performance backend systems as an individual contributor while mentoring peers and upholding craftsmanship.

You should have 5+ years of backend experience, strong Node.js and TypeScript skills, API design with REST/OpenAPI or GraphQL, and familiarity with NestJS, Docker, Kubernetes, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience shipping production-grade microservices.
• Strong Node.js and TypeScript expertise with RESTful API design.
• Experience with NestJS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• OpenAPI/GraphQL API design and integration experience.
• Relational database design and SQL proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-velocity backend features and API endpoints.
• Optimize API latency and database query performance.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to translate requirements into specs and releases.
• Drive tests, code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
• Resolve production defects and streamline CI/CD pipelines.
