Bytamic Solutions is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join a long-term enterprise project. You will work on back-end services using TypeScript/Node.js and NestJS, building robust REST APIs while collaborating with an international team and German-speaking stakeholders.

The role emphasizes modernization, performance improvements, and reliability in a large-scale platform serving over a million users. Remote work and continuous learning opportunities are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Solid experience with NestJS and backend development.
• Strong REST API design and implementation skills.
• German language skills at B1 or higher for discussions and documentation.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Work with NestJS or similar frameworks to implement business logic.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and integrations.
• Analyze and refactor code for performance and reliability.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and architects.
• Communicate with German-speaking stakeholders in technical discussions.
