Connexity is seeking a skilled backend engineer to join our Internal Tools team in Santa Monica. You will design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data models that power a unified advertiser management platform, collaborating across product, design, and engineering.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and distributed architectures, while leveraging AI-assisted tooling to enhance development velocity.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend development experience with high-performance systems.
• Proficiency in Java; knowledge of Python/Node.js/Go is a plus.
• Strong RESTful API design and implementation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Contribute to architecture and system design for reliability and performance.
• Model data and optimize relational databases; work with NoSQL/BigQuery as needed.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver features.
• Maintain code quality with reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Evaluate new tools and AI-assisted development techniques to boost velocity.
