Qualifications

• At least 6 years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot is essential.
• Strong REST API design and implementation skills.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tooling is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Contribute to architecture, design patterns, and system reliability.
• Model relational data and optimize queries for performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineers to ship features.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and improve code quality and tests.
• Refactor codebase for scalability and maintainability.
• Evaluate new tools and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate velocity.
