Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Java-focused technologist to design and build scalable software solutions for major financial clients. You will collaborate with architects to translate business vision into multi-layer applications, employing Java/J2EE, Spring, REST, and microservices patterns.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of hands-on experience, strong communication, and a background in asset management tech with derivatives and private equity exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Systems.
• 10+ years hands-on technical experience.
• Strong teammate that thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Quick learner and a great teammate.
• Experience in financial services/Asset Management technology with exposure to Derivatives, Liquid Alts and Private Equity.
• Project/People Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a quality solution aligned with technology blueprint and standard processes.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to translate vision into scalable software.
• Develop multiple software applications and study alternatives.
• Lead technical components delivery across teams and mentor junior members.
• Drive process improvements to increase product velocity.
