Job summary

Capgemini in Lake May, FL is seeking a Java software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Core Java and Spring Boot. You will build and expose RESTful APIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable cloud-based solutions.

You will deploy and monitor applications on AWS, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, integrate AI/LLMs where appropriate, and ensure code quality through reviews and testing.

Qualifications

• Must have Core Java, Spring Boot, REST API and Microservices experience.
• Ability to design and implement scalable microservices architectures.
• Experience building secure, high-performance RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs ensuring high performance and security.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and product stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
