Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer - Access Control to help scale our security platform. You will work on frontend features that enable access control interfaces, integrate with backend services, and collaborate across teams to deliver robust, user-focused solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of frontend experience, strong JavaScript/Node.js skills, and a track record of cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building backend services with consistency, latency, and uptime guarantees at scale.
• Fluency in at least one server language — Python or Go preferred; adjacent languages like Ruby or JavaScript (NodeJs) welcome.
• Skilled at listening to other engineering teams, shaping shared technical direction, and shipping changes they can build on without surprise.
• This role requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency for FedRAMP compliance, and onsite presence five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Architect, ship, and lead major platform features end-to-end such as the IoT core or licensing ledger.
• Lead operational improvements that increase system robustness and reduce pager noise.
• Mentor teammates through design reviews, code reviews, and clear communication.
• Collaborate with other teams to align roadmap with company long-term bets.
• Foster a high-trust, inclusive team culture with direct feedback and continuous learning.
