Job summary

Reach Security is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to drive backend system development, with emphasis on integrations and ecosystem positioning. You will own Python-driven backend architecture, data processing, and secure handling of credentials in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.

The role involves leading technical direction, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality solutions across complex, interconnected systems from day one.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering with backend/platform focus.
Deep Python experience and ecosystem mastery.
Expertise in distributed systems and large-scale data architecture.
Strong authZ/authN patterns and secure data handling.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Excellent communication for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage an ecosystem of integrations with external providers.
Lead API design, data processing, infrastructure projects.
Drive key engineering initiatives and uphold technical excellence.
Draft technical proposals to align teams on complex designs.
Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
