FMNE Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Backend) with strong Java/Gosu and Guidewire expertise to join our IT team in Lincoln, NE. The role combines design, development, and mentorship within a collaborative environment.

You will lead Guidewire Platform initiatives, develop Gosu-based rules, and build scalable backend services using Java/Gosu, .NET/C#, and SQL. A hybrid work model is offered for eligible employees along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience with Guidewire and Java/Gosu.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and clean code principles.
• Guidewire Cloud Developer Certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end Guidewire implementations and integrations.
• Design and develop Gosu-based rules, models, workflows, and data structures.
• Develop and maintain Java/Gosu applications on Guidewire Cloud.
• Write unit tests and perform code reviews to ensure quality.
• Mentor Software Developers and promote best practices.
