Job summary

Quantiphi, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer with deep Java expertise and Guidewire ClaimCenter experience to modernize insurance platforms. The role requires transforming Gosu customizations to Java, building scalable backend services, and delivering AI-enabled, integrated solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers in a fast-paced, hybrid, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development with strong Java backend focus.
• Deep knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter including configuration, PCF/UI rules, and integration.
• Experience with Gosu-to-Java migration efforts and Java RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs within Guidewire ClaimCenter.
• Lead Gosu-to-Java transformation initiatives using LLM productivity tools.
• Analyze Guidewire configurations and re-engineer Gosu customizations to Java solutions.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices for integration with downstream systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to deliver aligned solutions.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and mentoring juniors.
• Develop and maintain unit/integration tests; ensure code quality.
• Follow Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and Git version control practices.
