Job summary

FMNE Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Frontend) to join our IT team in Lincoln. You will work on modern web apps using React/Angular and integrate with Guidewire components, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality software.

The role requires strong problem-solving, mentoring, and staying current with evolving technologies. This is a full-time, hybrid position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience with the Guidewire platform and Java/Gosu, with strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean code principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Guidewire Cloud Developer Certification, required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the Company’s mission while adhering to core values of integrity, service, excellence, stability, strength, respect and teamwork.
• Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and customization of Guidewire components.
• Develop Gosu-based business rules, product models, workflows and data models.
• Create or modify Guidewire integrations (REST APIs, SOAP, batch jobs).
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications on the Guidewire Cloud platform using Java/Gosu, REACT, and .NET.
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews and testing.
