Job summary

National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Guidewire) to design, develop and maintain high‑quality Guidewire software that meets business needs in a hybrid office setting.

You will configure PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter, work with GOSU and data models, develop integrations via SOAP/REST, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with architects and mentors to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field.
• 2-4 years experience in Guidewire configuration and extension points (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
• 2-4 years experience with GOSU, Guidewire configuration, business rules, and data model concepts.
• 2-4 years experience developing within Guidewire applications across multiple release cycles.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of Guidewire software solutions meeting quality and performance standards.
• Promote a collaborative team environment and work with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
• Work closely with mentors to enhance understanding of the codebase and development processes.
• Develop integrations between Guidewire and internal/external systems using SOAP/REST APIs and middleware.
