Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to scale Advanced Trading products with high-performance services built in Golang. You’ll own the end-to-end design and reliability of critical backend systems that power trading for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience in production systems.
• Experience with Golang and gRPC in high-throughput environments.
• Hands-on with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design, development, and reliability of high-performance backend services using Golang and gRPC.
• Lead rapid experimentation and optimization of conversion funnels for key trading journeys.
• Drive time to market for new features by balancing performance, scalability, and maintainability.
