Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Simple Trade Experience team within the Consumer & Business group. You will own backend and frontend systems powering the buy/sell/convert journeys for millions of users on the Coinbase app and website.

Collaborate with product and design to deliver a best-in-class trading experience across web and mobile, drive scalable infrastructure, and mentor teammates while upholding strong observability and reliability at web-scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with production services.
• Designing high-availability distributed systems for web-scale traffic.
• Proficiency in Java or Golang and MongoDB/Redis.
• Experience with observability and operational excellence.
• Experience upgrading legacy systems into modern platforms.
